When we say mushroom fruiting body, it is considered to be the stem and cap of the mushroom. Fruiting bodies are said to contain high amounts of beneficial compounds.

Welp, as we age, we are getting more prone to cognitive impairment like forgetting a lot of stuff, trouble learning or studying things, difficulty in concentrating and frequent mood change. You never know,  this natural supplement might just hold the key to a sharper mind and healthier life.

Suggested use: As a dietary supplement, take one capsule two times per day with water.

Ingredients: Lion’s mane mushroom(fruiting bodies)500 mg, gelatin, rice extract blend, rice flour and rice concentrate.

My Personal Experiences: I’ve been taking this for two to three months now, I have noticed that my brain fog has lessened. I can think more clearly which enables me to finish a couple of my daily tasks such as officework and some sidelines too. I think its calming effect is valid too as I tend to be calmer in dealing with various stressful situations like office meetings and home dilemmas, thus, enabling me to think more rationally. It’s like you still feel nice after a long, tiring day. 

There are no specific dietary requirements for taking this one. As for me, I just eat what I usually deem as a well-balanced diet. A good combination of rice, veggies, meats and some fruits works for me. I don’t do those South-Beach tricks or Low-Carb diets. As long as my eating habits keep me healthy,  that would be enough.

There are days, the really busy ones,  when I would overlook taking it. The supplement’s effect would last me one or two days. It’d be able to keep my brain fog at bay within those periods.

I also refrain myself from drinking too much alcohol while taking the supplement as it can alter its effectiveness. We all know that alcohol is not to be paired with any medicines or supplements. If I were to drink some wine or beer on a particular day, I usually postpone taking the pill or consume it several hours ahead.

Another thing I have noticed while taking this is you must have a good sleeping habit to make it really work. If you’re the type who binge watches at night or do mindless scrolling until 2:00 AM, then this won’t really do a thing. Mental block kicks in and it’s like you haven’t taken anything at all.

Side effects observed: Personally, none so far. No allergic reactions of any kind and didn’t upset my stomach.

Personal Recommendation: Overall rating is 4/5. This supplement, coupled with a healthy lifestyle, can help you elevate your brain health and embrace a mindful approach to wellness. I also find the ingredients stated above mostly safe to take unless you’re someone who’s quite allergic to them. Taking it on a regular basis maintains and/or increases its effectiveness. You just really have to make some adjustments on your lifestyle such as maintaining a good sleeping routine. As I have mentioned earlier, it seems to lose its potency when you’re not well rested. Maybe Swansons can improve more on the formulation’s strength? or it could also be that’s just how it really works on me.
